Quality Relationships
Body Alignment
First, we give the body what the body requires, by learning how the body functions and align with it.
According to the Chinese Qigong philosophy, our body has 365 channels, if we can have all the channels flow naturally, we are naturally connected to the whole universe, past, future and everywhere all the time, and our thinking mind no longer is required, we know what to do next, what is in front of us, we make wise perfect decisions naturally. Like the crown point is the gate between heaven and us, the fountain point at our bottom feet, bubbling area is the gate between earth and us, our lower dantain point, kidney area is the location our our own wisdom, we are encouraged to breathe from there to awake our human intelligence.
In this first stage, we are concentrated on grounding ourselves firmly on the ground under our feet, all the questions our mind want to know, we put them on a note book and satisfying them in the second stage if they have not yet resolved by themselves by the end of the month. The breakthrough and healings happen in the process, before we finish the monthly training, the reason is we don’t use our body properly, it affects our mind and emotions, for example, if we feel anxious a lot, it is the out order of spleen functioning, by strengthening the spleen we will naturally feel peaceful. Just in this stage, a lot of clarity will be gained and simplicity will appear.
Inner Peace
Second, we give each voice respect, we treat these voices as an inner child. A scared and confused or angry child. They are lost. We give the inner child comfort. Stage one spent a good time with the child already. We have gained some trust from the child. They are willing to speak, we listen attentively and give the child the love they require and desire.
For example, if it is a criticise voice, you hear it is judging your mum for example, you ask the voice or inner child ‘Why do you judge?’ You might hear it says ‘Your mum is always judging about your dad, thinking your dad is too lazy.’ You can check yourself if (always, whatever others bother us we have a similar behaviour if we stop ourselves and dive into our inner world we will see it is true) or where you should take action but don’t ‘lazy’. What can we do about it, how can we get ourselves overcome laziness in a crucial area that we care, like health, personality and the career we love.
Stage two is shadow work. The purpose of this stage is to make peace with the mind, past and present. The heart knows the truth. By convincing the mind what it holds is incorrect, and have the mind willing to work for us and support true happiness and growth, we become free from whatever we let hold us back. We are able to break heavy concepts that anchored us in the same place and let life pass.
We learn to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, to allow mind space, to allow wisdom flow through…
Perfect Relationships
I have been searching the perfect happiness, now I learned it is relationships, with oneself and with others; if we have good relationships with ourselves we are naturally having a good relationships with everybody else, we just wake everybody’s good within, it is how universe works.
We explore our highest selves, see who we really are. This gives us a feeling of respect and appreciation. We become free from fear and excited to explore life with like minded people. Here we are learning a few powerful laws of universe which are matched with our true nature. We learn to match our three aspects: body, mind and emotions with the spirit of who we are.
In this stage, we will naturally want to share what we feel in the heart so we will be able to release, feeling fearless as we know the listeners are also releasing their own trapped emotions at the same time, we know they know that by helping us they are also helping themselves, furthermore, the fruit of life is result and what we are giving to the world is the cause. In this stage, we learn to speak the truth and building trust and meaningful relationships.
The longest study
What we learn from the Longest Study is, perhaps, that everybody is knowingly or un-knowingly looking for happiness. What makes a person truly happy is not wealth, working hard or fame. It is quality relationships with their family, friends and community. In 2015, Robert Waldinger, who was the third person who had kept the research going, shared a Tedx talk.
Before we can have a wonderful relationship with life, with the outside world, we have to have a good relationship with our inner world. The body, mind, emotion and spirit. If they are working in harmony, together toward the same direction, we can achieve anything in life effortlessly. So all the work we do here is assisting us to tune in with our highest good.
